Return & Replacement Policy

At Sun Rise, we value the trust you place in us for your home appliances and electronics. As a premier electronics showroom in Motihari since 1985, we strive to ensure a smooth, worry-free shopping experience. Please read our Return, Replacement, and Refund Policy carefully to understand your rights and the guidelines for returning or replacing products.
1. Standard Returns & Replacements
Due to the nature of high-value consumer electronics and home appliances (including Air Conditioners, Refrigerators, Smart TVs, and Washing Machines), we accept return or replacement requests within 7 days of delivery/purchase only under the following conditions:
- Damaged on Delivery: The product received has physical damage or is broken upon unboxing.
- Defective/Non-Functional: The product is not working or has a manufacturing defect at the time of installation.
- Mismatched Product: The product delivered is different from the model or specifications ordered.
2. Dead on Arrival (DOA) & Brand Warranty
For major appliances from brands such as LG, Samsung, Voltas, Sony, Whirlpool, and Godrej:
- Authorized Installation: We highly recommend that appliances are unboxed and installed only by authorized brand technicians. Self-unboxing or self-installation of major appliances may void the brand warranty and make the product ineligible for returns.
- DOA Verification: If a product is found defective upon installation, a brand-authorized technician must inspect the product. If they confirm a manufacturing defect, they will issue a DOA (Dead on Arrival) Certificate.
- Replacement/Refund: Upon receipt of the brand's DOA Certificate, Sun Rise will immediately arrange a brand-new replacement or a full refund for the customer.
3. Non-Returnable Conditions
We cannot accept returns or offer replacements under the following circumstances:
- Change of mind, personal preference changes, or finding a different price after purchase.
- Products that have been installed, operated, or used (unless a manufacturing defect is verified by the brand technician).
- Physical damage, dents, scratches, or cosmetic issues caused by improper handling, self-installation, or usage after successful delivery.
- Products missing their original packaging, user manuals, remote controls, power cords, warranty cards, or included accessories.
- Products with altered, defaced, or missing serial numbers.
4. How to Initiate a Return or Replacement
To report a damaged, defective, or incorrect product, please contact us immediately:

- Store Visit: You can visit our main showroom located at Main Rd, in front of bari masjid, Motihari, Bihar 845401 with your purchase invoice.
5. Inspection & Processing
Once you initiate a return request:
- For local deliveries in Motihari, we will schedule a pickup or coordinate with the brand technician to inspect the item at your home.
- Once the product is received at our store or the DOA status is confirmed by the brand, it will undergo a quality assessment.
- If approved, your replacement product will be dispatched within 2-3 business days (subject to stock availability).
6. Refunds
If a replacement is not available or you choose to receive a refund:
- Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method (Bank Transfer, UPI, Credit/Debit Card, or Cash for cash-on-delivery/in-store purchases).
- Refund processing times typically range from 5 to 7 business days once the return is approved.
